This natural wood kitchen remodel in Lynden, WA was part of a larger home renovation that brought warmth, function, and updated finishes into the home. The kitchen was redesigned with an open-concept layout, new wood flooring, modern appliances, and durable finishes for everyday use.

Natural wood slab-style cabinets give the kitchen a clean, modern look while keeping the space warm and inviting. Quartz countertops with a marble-inspired pattern add brightness and movement while offering the durability needed for daily cooking, prep, and entertaining.

The new island provides additional workspace, storage, and casual seating. A microwave drawer was added to the island for convenient access and to help keep the surrounding counters clear. Under-cabinet lighting improves visibility for food prep while adding a soft, finished glow to the kitchen.

A built-in desk area was also incorporated into the design, making the kitchen more multifunctional for everyday tasks, planning, and household organization. New wood floors complete the space and help connect the kitchen to the rest of the renovated home.
