This spa-inspired bathroom remodel in Blaine, WA transformed an outdated alcove jetted tub area into a bright, open curbless shower and sitting area. The goal was to create a bathroom that felt calm, comfortable, and easy to use while improving the overall function of the space.

The new curbless shower creates a seamless transition from the bathroom floor into the shower, giving the room a more open feel while supporting long-term accessibility. Natural-look tile was used throughout the bathroom to create a soft, spa-like atmosphere, while a vertical accent tile adds texture and visual interest to the shower wall.

A pony wall was added to define the shower area and provide space for a built-in niche, keeping toiletries organized and easy to reach. The design also allows natural light to flow into the shower, helping the space feel brighter and more spacious.

Multiple grab bars were installed to improve safety and comfort in the wet area. The large glass shower enclosure keeps the design open and airy while showcasing the tile details.

A double vanity adds everyday convenience, offering more room for getting ready and plenty of storage. The finished bathroom is calm, functional, and thoughtfully designed, blending spa-inspired finishes with practical features that can be enjoyed for years to come.
